Notes: A scarce Keystone State made by the Weymann Family. Circa 1917. Exceptional full tone for an instrument of this size. Spruce top/mahogany back sides. Mahogany neck with soft "V" shape.
This guitar has been rebuilt by Dan Lambert to enhance its full potential while maintaining as much vintage originality as possible. This includes repairs/enhancements to the original ladder bracing, retaining original wood whenever possible for improved tone and structural integrity. Slightly radiused new Ebony fretboard, new large frets, new ebony belly bridge, new ebony nut, new bone saddle. New Ebony bridge pins. Two top crack repairs and one repaired back crack. Repaired headstock crack. Tuners appear to be original. Two new carbon rods have been inserted into the freshly reset neck to enhance structural integrity for another 100 years of playing. Unique body shape with pronounced pinched waist. 4 3/8" deep at endpin, 9 7/8" upper bout, 8 1/4" waist and 14 1/4" lower bout.
