Notes:
This is a true rarity and the only known example of a twin neck lap steel of this model we are aware of.  This unique guitar bears the hallmarks of Kay made instruments (Oahu 71K style gold stencil, checkerboard binding, etc...) however the family who previously owned the instrument relayed that it was custom made by Regal in Chicago circa mid 1930s for a family member who played lap steel guitar professionally.  In overall very good condition for its age and plays wonderfully.   Some top pick wear on the treble side.  Various scrapes and scuffs to the back of the original square necks.  Original tuners.  Original rosewood fretboard and original frets.  Repairs include: professional seal of hairline seam separation on one of the seams of the three piece top, new spruce bridge plate with maple insert, approximately two inch back crack repair on the back of the guitar near the heel block, three non-original tuner buttons, new ebony bridge, new bone saddles, replacement plastic bridge pins.  4.5" deep at endpin.  As a bonus, comes with well preserved original custom fit case.
