This c. late 1940s all mahogany Harmony H165 "figure 8" has been transformed through a complete rebuild and X brace conversion using Stay Gold Guitars' method of X bracing. Now it sounds and plays phenomenally! Rebuild work included: removing the back of the guitar and replacing existing ladder bracing on top of the guitar with X bracing, replacing back bracing, replacing old bridge plate with a new maple bridge plate, making a new rosewood pin bridge, neck reset, fretboard replane, old frets removed and replaced with a complete new fret job, new bone nut/saddle, new plastic bridge pins, expert setup job. Comes with new hardshell case.
