Circa 1930 Maurer. Made in Chicago by the renowned Carl and August Larson and Branded with the Maurer name. We are essentially the third owner of this guitar. Guitar was purchased from orginal owner's son in 2018. We have pictures of the original owner with the guitar when it was new as well as a letter from her about her time in music and the history of the guitar. Ladder braced. All original finish by appearance. Trapeze tailpiece replaced with a new bridge with compensated saddle. Neck reset has been done. Has orginal bar frets. No body cracks and only one top crack that does not go through to the inside. Ebony bridge is in excellent condition. Subtle "V" neck. Body depth at the tail is 4.0". Comes with original rope strap and spring capo!
