Circa early 1960s Harmony H165 transformed to a tone machine using Baxendale Conversions' proprietary x-bracing conversion and guitar remanufacturing method! Rebuild work includes removing the back of the guitar, removing original ladder bracing and replacing with Baxendale Conversions' own X bracing design, making a new maple bridge plate, neck geometry optimized for better tone and playability, neck reset , fretboard planed and re-radiused, new frets, original tuners replaced with Grover Stay Tite tuners, new bone saddle, new bone nut, new rosewood pin bridge, and various structural repairs. This specific guitar has had various crack repairs as pictured. The Baxendale Conversions team creates a "new" and warrantied guitar with tons of vintage vibe given the seasoned tone woods and world class tone matching the most desirable vintage guitars.
