Collings' new slop shoulder dreadnaught design. The all-new Collings CJ-45 T is a fully re-imagined instrument that offers a distinct tonal variation when compared to the CJ and CJ-35 models. Strongly vintage-inspired, the body construction has been completely re-engineered, including new bracing carves and patterns. When combined with our latest T-Series neck design and new CJ-45 neck profile, the result showcases a tone that is exceptionally dry and fundamental with the growl and thump sought after in the great slope-shoulder dreads of the Wartime era. Wartime scalloped sitka spruce X-bracing. High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer body and neck finish. Mahogany neck. Bone saddle and nut. Ivoroid bridge pins. Tortoise pickguard. Full C shape traditional neck profile. Mortise & tenon hybrid neck joint. Very flat back contributing to excellent forward projection and pronounced vintage style midrange. Nickel Wavery 16:1 tuners with ivoroid buttons. Ebony bridge. Indian rosewood fretboard. Ivoroid body binding. Ebony headstock veneer with MOP Collings logo. Single-ring of multiple b/w purflings rosette. Fully adjustable truss rod. 4 7/8" body depth. 2 5/16" spacing at saddle. Deluxe TKL hardshell case.
