Circa early 1930s Sovereign branded grand concert model made by the Oscar Schmidt company in its Jersey City, NJ factory.  Beautiful solid koa top/back/sides.  Fancy gold sparkle purfling, rosette, heel cap, and neck strip. Faux mother of pearl celluloid fretboard.  This guitar has been rebuilt by Dan Lambert to enhance its full potential while maintaining as much vintage originality as possible. This includes repairs/enhancements and tuning of the original ladder bracing, retaining original wood whenever possible for improved tone and structural integrity.  ebony veneer placed under original "mother ion toilet seat" fretboard to correct warping and add stability. New frets. Original tuners. Repaired top, back and side cracks.  A carbon rod has been inserted into the freshly reset neck to enhance structural integrity for another 100 years of playing.
