c. late 1930s Gibson made Recording King Model-K Carson J. Robison. Essentially the same as a Kalamazoo KHG-14. Ladder braced. Mahogany neck with a vintage "V" profile. Repair/restoration included: neck reset and carbon rod added to the neck for stability, new frets, replacement rosewood bridge, new bone saddle, new bone nut, new maple bridgeplate, internal braces were restored and reglued. Tuners are replacements. Replacement tiger stripe pick guard. Finish has various scratches/scuffs/dings, etc... and this is a players guitar. One repaired top crack on upper bout near fretboard extension. No back/side cracks. Comes with used non-original HSC.
