Brand new Iris MS-00 handmade in Burlington, Vermont. S/N 863. Iris developed the MS-00 on insistence of Mark Stutman of Folkway, who is an expert in vintage Gibson guitars and for whom it’s named. This mid-thirties style guitar, with its short scale, is a wonderful complement to the line of small bodied Iris. Sitka spruce top/Honduran mahogany back/sides. Inspired by classic designs but with its own personality. Beautiful sunburst open pore satin nitrocellulose finish. Mahogany neck (full "C" shape carve). Bolt on Mortise and Tenon neck joint. East Indian Rosewood fretboard and bar bridge. Scalloped Adirondack spruce tone bars. Bone nut/saddle. Restoration open gear tuners. Fire stripe pick guard. White plastic body binding. 4 3/4" deep at end pin. 2 7/32" string spacing at saddle. TKL hardshell case.
