John Kinnaird

John Kinnaird has been hand constructing guitars since 1976. He makes fine custom acoustics and has a shop located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Each John Kinnaird guitar has a characteristic sound that is distinctive, easily identifiable, and consistent even between different styles of guitars and different woods. John's designs keep the bass and treble strings hooked to the entire bridge to enable the entire top to respond to every string. The bridge is wider than most to distribute the energy directly across the top grain and to engage side braces coupling the width of the vibrations more completely.
