The real deal!  This pre-war herringbone D-28 is a holy grail dreadnaught for sure...S/N 57794.  This has been essentially a one owner guitar and has remained in the same family since it was purchased in 1934.  Used professionally from 1934-approximately the late 1960s when it was retired from live performance.  Played on Barndance, CBS T.V. affiliates and at least one professional album recording.  Original finish.  Replacement bridge/bridge plate.   Repairs:  4 back braces repaired,  bridge re-glue, fingerboard crack repair, top repair under fingerboard extension and a top crack repair at the sound hole.  Plays well, sounds heavenly and needs no immediate work.  **This guitar is not stored onsite** Contact shawn@staygoldguitars.com with questions.
