Notes:
A gorgeous example of Oahu's top of the line 1930s "Deluxe" model. Made by Kay in its Chicago factory. What was originally a 68K (square neck) model essentially became a 69K(round neck) model after the neck was re-carved. We love the tone of this ladder braced model. Two piece spruce top and two piece Brazillian rosewood back/sides. Abalone fretboard inlay, purfling, sound hole trim, and headstock inlay. Ebonized fingerboard with vine inlay. Ebony replica bridge. White celluloid bindings. Five of six original Grover tuners and one replacement Grover tuner. Formerly owned by the great Stefan Grossman. Non-original hardshell case included.
