Notes:
Circa 1935-1937 Oahu 72K deep bodied "Nick Lucas model". Made by Kay in Chicago. Round neck. Factory X braced. Spruce top with flamed maple back/sides. An excellent example with deep but articulate tone. We opted not to put a non-original pick guard on this beauty. We replaced the original cracked bridge with a period correct ebony pyramid bridge and compensated bone saddle. Original Grover tuners function well. Original frets are in excellent condition. Original ebony fretboard. We reglued loose original fretboard binding in areas. Fretboard binding is wavy in areas around fret ends which does not affect play. Various finish scratches, scuffs, etc. but no cracks. 4 5/8" deep at end pin. Non-original hardshell case included.
