This c. late 1960s-1970 Harmony H1270 twelve string been transformed through a complete rebuild and "long scale" conversion. We converted its 25.0" scale length to be 26.5" long a la original Oscar Schmidt made Stella twelve strings. We also retraced the guitar with ladder bracing in the manner of original Oscar Schmidt made twelve strings. Rebuild work included: removing the back of the guitar and replacing existing top and back ladder bracing with new ladder bracing in the patternoforiginal Oscar Schmidt made guitars of the early 1900s, new bridge plate, replacing old bridge with a new rosewood bridge, neck reset, fingerboard replaced, old frets removed and replaced with a complete new fret job, old tuners replaced with open gear Restoration tuners, new bone nut/compensated bone saddle, new plastic bridge pins, expert setup job. Comes with new hardshell case.
