Notes:
This c. late 1930s-early 1940s Regal has been transformed through a complete rebuild and X brace conversion using Stay Gold Guitars' method of X bracing. Now it sounds and plays phenomenally! This guitar is an interesting model with a size closer to a "grand concert" than a "concert" size yet at 14 1/8" wide it is narrower than a Gibson L-00. Rebuild work included: removing the back of the guitar and replacing existing ladder bracing on top of the guitar with X bracing, replacing back bracing, replacing old bridge plate with a new maple bridge plate, replacing old bridge with a new rosewood pin bridge, neck reset, fingerboard replaned, old frets removed and replaced with a complete new fret job, crack repairs, old tuners replaced with Grover 18:1 open gear tuners, new bone nut/compensated bone saddle, new plastic bridge pins, expert setup job. Comes with new hardshell case.
