Circa 1915-1920 "The Vernon" is in very excellent condition. We've had a few of these and this is the best sounding one we've encountered so far with a more rich and complex sound than typical. Vernon was a house brand for music distributor C. Bruno & Sons and this guitar was most likely made by Regal in its Chicago factory. Beautiful multicolored purfling/rosette.Original tuners, original frets, and original ebony bridge with wire saddle. Metal tailpiece appears to be a replacement. Rosewood fretboard. One faint repaired side crack on the treble side of the guitar and two faint repaired back cracks. Some finish wear but, overall, the guitar is in remarkable cosmetic condition. Neck appears to have been reset at some point and neck angle/action are very good making the guitar a pleasure to play. Comes with non-original HSC.
