A very rare early 1930s Oscar Schmidt made Stella "Gambler". The "Gambler" model is arguably the most iconic looking model of original Stella guitars. Grant concert sized versions of this model are exceedingly rare. Gold rosette stenciling, and celluloid faux mother of pearl (AKA "mother of toilet seat") fingerboard and headstock overlay. Playing card decals. Original tuners. original black finish. Long 26 1/2" scale length which contributes to its classic Stella growl! Has had a neck reset, repaired top cracks, new bone nut and replacement rosewood bridge, maple bridge plate patched and re-drilled, back and side separations re-glued, original black finish touched up in several areas. Comes with new hardshell case.
