1920s Stella auditorium (jumbo) size long scale made by Oscar Schmidt in Jersey City, NJ.  Surviving Oscar Schmidt auditorium) sized six string guitars are becoming very rare. They are famous for having a low "rumble" and being incredibly resonant due in part to their 26.5" scale length.  This is essentially the six string version of Leadbelly's famous twelve string.  This specific guitar's combination of a spruce top and mahogany back/sides is the most sought after variant.  The guitar has had the following restoration/repair work:  original ladder bracing restored by removing, re-radiusing and re-gluing braces, replacement fingberboard, new frets, new ebony pyramid bridge, front/back/side crack repairs, new bone nut/saddle. Comes with non-original HSC.
