This is a true rarity and the only known example of a twin neck Kay lap style guitar! Custom made by Kay  in Chicago in the early 1930s for a lap steel player.  In overall very good condition for its age and plays wonderfully. Intricate Oahu 71K style gold stenciling.  Checkerboard Oahu style binding. Some top pick wear on the treble side.  Some scotch to the back of the original square necks.  Original tuners.  Original rosewood fretboards/frets.  Repairs include: professional seal of hairline seam separation on one of the seams of the three piece top, new spruce bridge plate with maple insert, approximately two inch back crack repair on the back of the guitar near the heel block, three non-original tuner buttons, new ebony bridge, new bone saddles.  4.5" deep at endpin.  Comes with original custom fit case.
