Stunning Washburn Style 150 built by Lyon & Healy in Chicago circa 1912. Serial number written on inside paper label and stamped on neck block reads A34142. This was a "top of the line" model of Lyon & Healy's Washburn brand. Beautiful vine inlay on ebony fretboard and other highly decorative appointments. Highly intricate top/back body and back strip purfling, marquetry and rosette. Mother of pearl headstock and fretboard inlay. Ladder braced. Mahogany neck has a vintage "V" profile with a moderate depth. 12 frets to the body neck joint. Finely carved neck volute. Original ebony bridge has been professionally restored and crack repair was completed. Compensated replacement bone saddle. Original tuners with ivory buttons work well. Approximately 3.0" repaired back crack in lower bout area. Approximately 6.0" repaired side crack. Some finish blanching on lower bout area on one side. 12.25" lower bout/8.75"upper bout/7.0" waist. Guitar has had a recent neck reset and plays very comfortably. Non original newer hardshell case.
