This guitar is pre-owned but in very excellent condition with no signs of play wear. Drawing its name from the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher — a bird species common to the Central Texas Hill Country — the WL-14 Scissortail is a special edition WL-14 that pays homage to the "Oriole" guitars produced by Kalamazoo between 1940 and 1942. Built with maple back and sides and vintage-inspired X-bracing, the Scissortail brings excellent projection and focus to the flagship WL-14 series while retaining its woody, characteristic tone. A natural finish coupled with distinctive tortoise-style binding sets this instrument apart from other WL-14 models, along with an original Scissortail decal applied to the headstock in true-to-era fashion. 4 1/4" body depth. 2 3/8" saddle spaceing. Hardshell TKL case.
