This circa 1906 Washburn Style 217 guitar is in very good to excellent condition for its age. Built by Lyon & Healy in its Chicago factory. White oval paper label is in remarkable condition with hand-written. serial number 283275 clearly visible. Adirondack Spruce top and beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back/sides. Mahogany neck with ebony heelcap. Neck has a slightly rounded "V" profile. Ebony faceplate veneer. 18 fret ebony fretboard. Mother of pearl position markers. Ebony flattened pyramid bridge. Ebony nut. Top bound with white celluloid and rope pattern. White celluloid back body binding. Soundhole inlaid with b/w/b, and b/w/r rings. Inlaid backstrip. Original tuners function well. Replacement plastic bridge pins and end pin. This guitar has various scuffs, scratches and nicks typical of a guitars its age but presents very well. No top or side cracks. One very thin approximately 1.0" long repaired side cracks. Comes with non-original HSC.
