A rare and unique piece! This circa 1906-1907 Gibson Style 0 is in great playing condition after recent restoration work. It has an openness in tone we've not heard in later scroll area Style Os. Neck reset and carbon rod added to the neck for stability. New ebony fretboard, new frets and new fretboard position markers. Replacement ebony bridge and new bone saddle. New maple bridgeplate. New bone nut. Some internal braces were repaired and reglued. Side crack repair and sides refinished with a French polish. Tuners appear they may may be original and function well. Significant back finish wear but no back cracks. Back appears it is either birch or maple. No top cracks. Finish has various scratches/scuffs/dings, etc...Paper Gibson label is in excellent condition. 2 7/8" deep at end pin.
