Circa 1918 Oscar Schmidt made/Lyra labeled concert model.
Ladder braced with white oak back and sides and beautifully pattinaed spruce top. Top purfling marquetry and rosette. 'Decalcomania' back strip. strip. Poplar neck. Black "ebonized" maple fingerboard. Replacement ebony pyramid bridge and nut. Recent repairs include a neck reset; replacement bridge, 'popsicle' brace installed under the top at the finger board extension, chip out between pin holes repaired on the bridge plate, frets leveled and dressed.
