Circa early 30's Tonk Brothers era Washburn 5238. Very excellent condition and a larger lower bout than many. S/N 2104. Snowflake inlays and gold filigree. No cracks. Original finish and Rosewood "smile" bridge. New Waverly tuners; original pearl-button tuners included. Recent professional refret. Excellent fitting non-original hardshell case. MOP freboard inlay and headstock inlay. Gold top stencil. Ivoroid bindings. Scalloped x-bracing. Mahogany neck. Neck is a chuncky but very comfortable mix of a"C"/slight "V" profile.
