Rare circa late 1800s/early 1900s Almcrantz with bolt on neck.  This one of two of these beautiful guitars we've had the good fortune to restore recently.  Spruce top with Brazilian rosewood back/sides.  Mahogany neck with center strip.  Semi-shallow vintage "V" neck profile.  Incredible inlaid floral patter purfling on back/sides of the guitar with abalone dots on the inside of some the flowers.  12 frets to the body.  Extremely light ladder bracing.   A great balance of full lows and crisp highs. Back of the guitar has a considerable arch to it.  Restoration by Dan Lambert includes:  neck reset, bracing reglued, rosewood veneer added under original ebony fretboard for stability, 4 top crack repairs, original bridge reglued, new bone saddle, new spruce bridge plate with maple insert.  Original ebony bridge, original frets, original tuners.  Light initials carved into the upper bout treble side of top of the guitar.  14.25" lower bout width, 10.25" upper bout width, 8.5" waist.  4 3/8" deep at end pin.
