Notes:
This circa late 1890s guitar built by Joseph Bohmann is a great example of Bohmann's innovative early sunburst finishes.  Bohmann is considered the first to do a sunburst finish on guitars.  Natural finish top with sunburst back/sides.  This guitar has been restored including:  back removed and some of the original internal bracing restored and reglued, top crack cleated, neck reset, new slightly radiused striped ebony fingerboard, non-adjustable carbon rod added to the neck, new frets, multiple top crack repairs (see pictures). Original bridge patented by Bohmann with fretwork saddle reglued.  Original primitive top x brace pattern in tact. Original tuners. Paper label inside the guitar is intact and well preserved.  Neck appears to be mahogany.  Guitar has many scuffs, dings, gouges, scratches, and lots of finish wear as would be expected of guitar of its age.   Comes with non-original used hardshell case.
