A very special guitar! Iris serial number 400. Special DF model with stunning 5A grade flamed maple back/sides. Full body sunburst. 12 fret neck joint. This guitar sounds absolutely huge. Handmade in Burlington, Vermont. Inspired by classic slope shoulder dreadnaught designs (e.g. Gibson J-45) but with its own personality. Satin nitrocellulose finish with no pore filling. Mahogany neck with a full "C" shape neck carve. Indian rosewood fretboard/bar bridge. Adirondack spruce scalloped tone bars. Bone nut/saddle. Golden Age Relic brass tuners with off white buttons. B/w/b purfling and rosette. Ivoroid top/back binding tiger striped pickguard. 4 7/8" deep at end pin. 2 1/4" string spacing at saddle. Hardshell case.
